Didn’t Just Survive. I Chose to Live!
At 57, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. In that moment, everything changed. There were statistics. There were opinions. There were limits placed in front of me that said what was likely… and what wasn’t. But I made a choice.I chose not to define my future by fear. I chose to fight for my life—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.
This journey pushed me in ways I never expected. It asked me to dig deeper, stand stronger, and trust myself more than ever before. And step by step, I found my way forward.
Today, I am here—not just as a survivor, but as someone who understands what it means to face the unknown and keep going anyway. My work now is about sharing that strength.
Through my book, my speaking, and the work I do with others, I help people reconnect with their own resilience—because it’s there, even when it feels out of reach.
You are stronger than you think. And your story is still being written.

Honouring Cancer Survivors with
Stories and Support.
National Cancer Survivor Day,
June 1, 2025
I are so grateful for the inspiring voices that shared their journeys at our recent event. Here I am pictured with Mark Wintermute who offered advice for new caregivers during the third annual National Cancer Survivor Day Celebration in Brantford on Sunday, June 1, 2025. The remarkable individuals who shared their stories of courage, healing, and resilience moved everyone in the room. Their honesty and strength remind us that survivorship is not just about overcoming illness—it’s about embracing life with purpose and hope. Thank you to all who attended and continue to support our healing community. 💛 Click here for the full article from the Brant Beacon: https://www.brantbeacon.ca/honouring-cancer-survivors-with-stories-and-support/
Visualizations with Ronnie
Why Visualization Exercises Can Support Healing During Treatment.
When you are going through medical treatments especially cancer treatments your body and mind are under extraordinary stress. Appointments, side effects, uncertainty, and fear can easily overwhelm your nervous system. Visualization exercises are a gentle, accessible tool that can help calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and support your body’s natural healing responses. This practice is not about replacing medical care. Visualization
works alongside treatment, helping you feel more grounded, supported, and empowered during a time when so much can feel out of your control. If you would like access to my full library, please contact me.
