I Didn’t Just Survive. I Chose to Live!
At 57, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. In that moment, everything changed. There were statistics. There were opinions. There were limits placed in front of me that said what was likely… and what wasn’t. But I made a choice.I chose not to define my future by fear. I chose to fight for my life—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.
This journey pushed me in ways I never expected. It asked me to dig deeper, stand stronger, and trust myself more than ever before. And step by step, I found my way forward.
Today, I am here—not just as a survivor, but as someone who understands what it means to face the unknown and keep going anyway. My work now is about sharing that strength.
Through my book, my speaking, and the work I do with others, I help people reconnect with their own resilience—because it’s there, even when it feels out of reach.
You are stronger than you think. And your story is still being written. Here is mine.
Racing for a Miracle.
A journey of courage and hope. From diagnosis to triumph – a powerful story of resilience, faith, and defying the odds.
I lived a healthy, active life and never imagined cancer would be part of my story. I thought I had done everything right—until one routine exam changed everything.
What followed was a journey through fear, courage, tears, and unexpected moments of joy.
This is not just a story about cancer—it’s about rising, reclaiming my power, and discovering how even the hardest moments can transform us.

Honoured to Support a Meaningful Cause
I am deeply honoured to be invited to speak at the Golf for Guts fundraising event, hosted at the beautiful Redding Country Club.
This special event supports the Farber Cancer Institute, with funds raised going directly toward vital, cutting-edge colorectal cancer research and compassionate patient care.
Being part of an initiative that brings people together in support of healing, hope, and progress is truly meaningful. Every contribution made through this event helps advance life-saving research and provides essential support for those navigating a cancer journey.
